These terms apply to every purchase from Hectare (Pty) Ltd, registration [CIPC NUMBER], VAT number [VAT NUMBER], of [STREET ADDRESS], [CITY]. By placing an order you accept them.
Prices and VAT
All prices are in South African Rand and include 15% VAT unless marked otherwise. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Delivery is added at checkout and shown before you pay. We correct genuine pricing errors and will contact you before dispatch if one affects your order; you may then cancel for a full refund.
Availability
Stock levels shown on the site are updated continuously but are not a guarantee. If an item sells out between your order and dispatch we tell you within one working day and offer a substitute, a back order or a refund.
Agricultural remedies
Herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and veterinary medicines are sold under Act 36 of 1947 and the registration number is shown on every listing. By buying them you confirm you are over 18 and will use them according to the label. Opened products cannot be returned. We are not responsible for crop damage, drift or residue arising from use not in accordance with the label.
Warranty
Machinery and equipment carry the manufacturer warranty stated on the product page, typically 12 months. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and the goods to have been used as intended and serviced as the manual requires. Consumables, wear parts and chemicals carry no warranty beyond being as described.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

These terms are governed by South African law. We would rather sort out a problem on the phone than in a courtroom, so please call us first.
