The Sunmight 08106 Waterproof Plain Sheet is a heavy-duty abrasive designed for aggressive material removal and initial surface leveling. These full-sized 230mm x 280mm sheets are constructed with high-quality Aluminum Oxide grain, which is the industry standard for coarser grit ranges to provide maximum durability and a rapid cut rate. The 80 grit rating makes this sheet ideal for stripping old paint, removing heavy rust, and shaping body filler or wood surfaces.

Sunmight waterproof sheets are built on a premium latex paper backing that offers exceptional strength and flexibility. Unlike standard sandpaper, these sheets feature a specialized resin-over-resin bond and an anti-curling treatment, ensuring the paper remains flat and effective even when fully submerged in water. This waterproof design allows for wet sanding, which helps to reduce heat friction and prevents the abrasive surface from clogging (loading), resulting in a cleaner work area and a longer-lasting abrasive sheet.
