The CAT 18V Brushless 2-Piece Power Tool Combo Kit (DX12K) supplies high-efficiency cordless drilling, masonry drilling, and heavy-duty fastening performance for professional jobsites and workshops. Built around high-output brushless motors, this set pairs the DX12 18V Hammer Drill with the DX71 1/4 inch Hex Impact Driver. The DX12 Hammer Drill delivers up to 65 Nm of torque through a 13 mm all-metal ratcheting chuck, featuring dedicated mode selection for standard drilling, screwdriving, and hammer action. The DX71 Impact Driver delivers up to 215 Nm of rotational torque with 3-speed electronic control to prevent fastener cam-out and head shearing across dense timber and steel structures. Both tools incorporate integrated PCM digital overload and thermal protection to safeguard internal circuitry and battery cells during sustained heavy work. The kit includes two 18V 2.0 Ah Li-ion batteries, a 4 A fast charger, two belt clips, and an injection moulded stacking carry case compatible with the CAT modular storage system.
