How many do you need?
A 585 W panel produces its rated output in full sun at standard test conditions. As a guide, a 5 kW array needs about 9 of these panels and a 10 kW array about 18. In most of South Africa a well-placed, north-facing, unshaded array averages very roughly 4.5 to 5 kWh per installed kW per day over a year, less in winter and more in summer (an estimate, not a guarantee).

- Match mounting to your roof: IBR, Klip-Lok, tile or a ground frame.
- Avoid mixing panel models on one string; mismatched panels drag the whole string down.
- Panels are large and fragile: we pack and deliver them flat.
