Hectare delivers farm supplies, trailers, fencing, pumps, water tanks and solar equipment from Durban to Gaborone, Francistown, Maun, Palapye and farm addresses across Botswana. Prices exclude South African VAT because the goods are exported, and delivery is one flat rate per order.
Delivery rates to Botswana
| Parcels by courier (up to 30 kg) | R750 per order |
|---|---|
| Heavy or long items by road freight | R3 500 per order |
| Trailers | Quoted to your address before you pay |
Road freight applies to items over 30 kg, longer than 1.5 m, or classed as hazardous; each product page tells you which applies. Import duty, import VAT and clearing fees in Botswana are not included.
Customs and duty
Botswana is a member of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) with South Africa, so there is no customs duty on these goods. Import VAT is paid to the Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS) when the goods are cleared. We supply the tax invoice and export documents.
Border crossings
Road freight enters Botswana at Kopfontein to Tlokweng for Gaborone, Skilpadshek to Pioneer Gate near Lobatse, Ramatlabama, or Groblersbrug to Martin's Drift for the north and east.
Paying from Botswana
Prices are in South African rand and paid by EFT. Your bank converts the amount to pula on the day you pay; use your order number as the reference.
