Hectare delivers solar and backup power, generators, pumps, trailers, hammer mills, fencing and farm supplies from Durban to Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, Masvingo, Gweru and farm addresses across Zimbabwe. Prices exclude South African VAT because the goods are exported, and delivery is one flat rate per order.
Delivery rates to Zimbabwe
| Parcels by courier (up to 30 kg) | R950 per order |
|---|---|
| Heavy or long items by road freight | R4 500 per order |
| Trailers | Quoted to your address before you pay |

Customs and duty
Zimbabwe is in SADC but not in the Southern African Customs Union, so the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) charges import duty and VAT where they apply. Goods made in South Africa can qualify for reduced SADC duty with a SADC certificate of origin; ask us which items qualify before you order. Most buyers use a clearing agent at Beitbridge.
Border crossings
Road freight crosses at Beitbridge, the main border post between South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Paying from Zimbabwe
Prices are in South African rand and paid by EFT in rand, with your order number as the reference. Ask your bank about paying a South African supplier from Zimbabwe.

Questions from Zimbabwe
Will I pay duty in Zimbabwe?
Usually yes. ZIMRA sets the duty and VAT on each item; goods made in South Africa can qualify for reduced SADC duty with a certificate of origin. Your clearing agent can tell you the amount before you order.
Can you send agricultural chemicals and seed to Zimbabwe?
These usually need an import permit in Zimbabwe. We ship them across the border only once you confirm you hold the permit.
