Hectare delivers farm supplies, trailers, fencing, pumps, water tanks and solar equipment from Durban to Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Oshakati, Keetmanshoop and farm addresses across Namibia. Prices exclude South African VAT because the goods are exported, and delivery is one flat rate per order.
Delivery rates to Namibia
| Parcels by courier (up to 30 kg) | R750 per order |
|---|---|
| Heavy or long items by road freight | R3 500 per order |
| Trailers | Quoted to your address before you pay |
Road freight applies to items over 30 kg, longer than 1.5 m, or classed as hazardous; each product page tells you which applies. Import duty, import VAT and clearing fees in Namibia are not included.
Customs and duty
Namibia and South Africa are both members of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU), so there is no customs duty on goods moving between them. Namibian import VAT is paid to the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) when the goods are cleared. We supply the tax invoice and export documents your clearing needs.
Border crossings
Road freight from South Africa enters Namibia at Vioolsdrif to Noordoewer or Nakop to Ariamsvlei, or travels the Trans-Kalahari route through Botswana.
Paying from Namibia
Prices are in South African rand. The Namibian dollar is pegged 1:1 to the rand, and the rand is accepted in Namibia, so the price you see is what you pay. Payment is by EFT, with your order number as the reference.

One flat rate per order, shown in the table above and added at checkout before you pay. Trailers are quoted to your address.
Can a trailer be delivered to Namibia?
Yes, on a quote. The trailer must be registered in Namibia before it is used on the road, so ask us which documents your licensing office needs before you order.
