Solar charges the battery and runs the house in the day; the battery carries the evening and load-shedding. At 100 kW it suits commercial and industrial installations. With about 80% of 120 kWh usable, a 1 kW evening load runs for roughly 96 hours before the battery needs a recharge (an estimate; real runtime depends on the load).
