The 3.6kW Starter 2.56kWh Solar Pack is a solar package built around a 3.6 kW inverter with 2.56 kWh of battery storage.

Solar charges the battery and runs the house in the day; the battery carries the evening and load-shedding. At 3.6 kW it suits a typical family home: lights, plugs, fridges, TV, Wi-Fi and a microwave, with careful use of the kettle. With about 80% of 2.56 kWh usable, a 1 kW evening load runs for roughly 2 hours before the battery needs a recharge (an estimate; real runtime depends on the load).

Before you order

• Ask for the full component list: we send it with your quote so you can see exactly what is included and what installation material you still need.
• Tell us what has to stay on during an outage so we can confirm the inverter and battery size.
• Match the inverter to your supply: single phase for most homes, three phase for larger homes and businesses.
• Installation must be done by a registered electrician, who issues a Certificate of Compliance. Grid-connected systems also need municipal registration.
